“How is it my fault?” Li Rui jumped to his feet and pulled his parents to judge. He told them about how he had tried to console Xia Yingluo and about their conversation.

“You still say you didn’t anger her?” Li Shaohui concluded his statement. “Girls need comfort at this time, not for you to encourage them to fight for bloodshed. She’s so sad, yet you still bothered her. Do you even understand women?”

“Do you?!” Li Rui was even angrier. “That’s my sister! Of course I want her to fight! Fight for her own happiness!”

“Isn’t your sister a woman?”

The two brothers were so heated up that Li Lei and Xia Ling were at a loss.

Li Lei managed to return to the main topic and asked Li Rui, “You just said Wei Lingnan is getting married?”
