Chapter 22: Just Because of Those Eyes, She Blushed (3)
Jin Tan’s face was not revealed when she first appears, and she would only take off the veil later on in the series.
The other actors left the changing room together with Ye Fan. When they arrived at the set, everyone sucked in their breaths when they saw them.
All they could see was the woman standing at the lead.
Ye Fan was dressed in a dark red qipao with her long, dark hair tied up.
The qipao outlined her figure, showing off her slender waist and long legs underneath. Her charming figure gave off a special sense of sensuality.
There was bright red nail polish decorating Ye Fan’s fair fingertips.
But the intense red was not overpowering on Ye Fan at all.
Ye Fan’s face was covered with a veil, so only her beautiful eyes were revealed.
Even though her face wasn’t fully revealed, everyone on the set still couldn’t help but be dazzled, and a single thought was left in their minds.
Ye Fan is the most beautiful woman in this city.
He Han gave her a light glance but did not show much emotion on his face.
The director thought to himself that sure enough, Ye Fan was beautiful. The reason he gave her the role was also so he could give her a chance.
And if Ye Fan grabbed this chance well, it will be a big turning point in her life.
But if Ye Fan’s performance did not pass, she will remain as nothing more than a flower vase.
The director’s expression changed slightly and he said, “Get ready, we’re going to begin.”
The lighting engineer set everything up and the camera was also adjusted. As soon as the clapperboard sounded, Ye Fan went into character.
This scene was about a dancer who seemed to be seducing the leading male, but actually wanted to kill him.
Under the soft lights in the dance hall, Ye Fan stood on the stage with her face covered by a veil. She was so charming that it was bewitching.
All the men underneath the stage had their eyes locked on Ye Fan, and all of them looked smitten.
Except for one.
Ye Fan’s target, He Han.
He Han was sitting underneath the stage, but since entering the room, he had never once spared Ye Fan a glance.
Ye Fan narrowed her eyes, and her red lips pursed underneath her veil. Then, she walked down the stage.
Somebody handed Ye Fan a jacket and she raised her hand leisurely to grab it, putting it over herself.
Looking at He Han, Ye Fan came to him step by step in an unhurried pace, but every one of her movements appeared sensual.
Her qipao swayed with her movements and her fair, slender legs could be seen between the slit. A truly enticing sight.
Ye Fan arrived in front of He Han, but he was still looking at the glass in his hands. He did not raise his eyes and remained completely unmoved.
Then, Ye Fan went behind He Han and leaned down. She laid her porcelain hand down on He Han’s shoulder and moved it down bit by bit enchantingly.
She had a smile on her face, but her eyes were ice cold. Then, her other hand reached out to her thigh. A gun was concealed there.
At this moment, He Han suddenly turned around and caught Ye Fan’s neck with his slender hands.
Ye Fan’s head was forced up and she looked into He Han’s eyes.
He had a cold look on his face, and those eyes were devoid of warmth. Gradually, his fingers tightened.
With narrowed eyes, he said icily, “Who sent you?”
The sound of gunshots rung out from outside, and He Han let her go.
The director shouted, “Cut!”
His voice came with a hint of surprise. Ye Fan was merely a stand-in before this so her face was not revealed in her acting, so the skills required were also much lower.
He thought that Ye Fan would disappoint him, but unexpectedly, he could still feel her sensuality through the veil, and he could feel his scalp tingle when she reached out for her gun.
