Ye Fan could already guess what Nie Weiru wanted to say. However, she also wanted to pay a visit to Nie Weiru, so she agreed.

“Anything else? I’m hanging up now,” Ye Fan said bluntly.

“No…” Before Nie Weiru could finish speaking, Ye Fan had already hung up.

Nie Weiru stared at her phone, stunned. Then, her anger rose up. When did Ye Fan get so brave as to hang up on her?

What’s more, she had just realized that she never called her mom.

Ye Fan hung up the call and left her phone to the side. She noticed that Dudu had been staring at her this whole time with his hand over his mouth.

Ye Fan pulled down Dudu’s small little hand and said, “Alright, Dudu can talk now.”

The little toddler pouted his lips and touched Ye Fan’s face. “Mommy is unhappy.” His tone was firm.

This surprised Ye Fan and she was just about to speak when Dudu’s face suddenly came close. He rubbed his nose on Ye Fan’s face, saying, “But baby won’t let mommy be unhappy.”

Ye Fan couldn’t help but laugh. She picked up Dudu, and while walking around her house, kissed him many times before stopping.

“Dudu really is mommy’s sweet little baby.”

At night, after passing Dudu to Nanny Li, Ye Fan headed out.

Ye Fan did not have the keys back home so she had to ring the doorbell when she arrived. There were several dishes on the dining table, but none of them were foods Ye Fan liked.

Seems like this was Nie Weiru’s way of jabbing back at her.

When Ye Fan arrived, the original Ye Fan’s sister, Ye Li, had also just returned from outside and they bumped into each other. Ye Li looked at her and reluctantly called out, “Sis.”

Ye Li frowned. Why was she like this now? She had always tried to curry her favor in the past.

Ye Fan’s lips curled up into a smile. “I’m her big sister in the show, but she’s acting as a young miss while I’m the illegitimate daughter who’s thrown out onto the streets.”

Nie Weiru’s face paled. She wanted to speak, but she couldn’t get her words out.
