Chapter 29: Bed Scene

Ye Fan raised her hands and circled them around He Han’s body. Her movements were slightly clumsy, but it was just right to express the clumsiness of the heroine in this scene as well.

With an extremely soft chuckle, He Han lowered his voice. “What’s the hurry?”

The scene around them felt blurry, and his deep and magnetic voice felt even more alluring at this moment.

Pulling his hand in slightly, He Han brought Ye Fan into his arms.

With only her thin underwear in between, He Han lightly set down his hand on her body. There were slight calluses at the tips of his fingers, bringing with it a slightly rough feeling.

The air was way too silent. Ye Fan was in He Han’s arms, listening to his heartbeat. It sounded like thunder, crashing down again and again.

While holding Ye Fan, He Han brought the two of them down to the bed.

The bed underneath them was soft. He Han’s lips raised into a slight smile which could be seen even in his eyes as he gradually leaned over towards Ye Fan.

While gazing at Ye Fan, He Han’s hand reached over to lamp at the bedside table. His slender fingers reached out to the switch and shut off the lights.

With the lights off, the room was suddenly sent into darkness.

“Cut!” The director shouted. He seemed to be very satisfied with the results any he rewarded them with a clap.

Even though this was the first time He Han and Ye Fan were filming a sex scene, they still managed to meet the director’s expectations.

Ye Fan could feel He Han’s warm hand quickly leave her body.

She slowly took a breath. Even though this was the Film Emperor’s first time acting in a sex scene, he was still so professional. It’s no wonder that he was able to win so many awards both locally and abroad.

The lights in the room came back on.

He Han straightened himself and sat by the bed. Just as he was about to get up and leave, he saw Ye Fan getting up as well.

He Han thought about it for a few seconds and reached a hand out to her.

His eyes moved down and met Ye Fan’s gaze.

Ye Fan was stunned. She accepted his help and got up, then thanked him.

Perhaps it was because he had to get into character earlier, but a trace of emotion could still be seen in He Han’s eyes.

But in just a moment, that was all gone. His eyes were now calm and cool once more.

Just as the crew said, He Han was a very collected person. Nobody could tell what he was thinking inside his head.

He Han turned around and left. The director needed to speak with him.

Even if it was the summer, Ye Fan still felt a little cold since they were filming at night wearing such thin clothes for so long.

One of the extras who had a good relationship with her, Song Man, came over to hand Ye Fan a jacket. “Freezing up?”

Ye Fan shook her head. “Thanks.”

He Han who stood not far away stopped in his steps and looked over.

Ye Fan was standing silently on the set.

A sense of toughness could be seen in her frailness. Her character was hard to come by.

Subconsciously, He Han rubbed his fingertips together in contemplation.

The next day, Ye Fan arrived early and headed for the dressing room so the makeup artist could do her up.

Ye Fan groaned. This was going to be the last scene she had to do today. The confrontation between her, the dancer and the heroine Tang Jin.

The dancer, Jin Tan, was actually the Shen family’s illegitimate daughter, while Tang Jin’s character as the heroine was the young miss of the Shen family. Young Miss Shen later became a special agent, while Jin Tan served the Japanese.

When Jin Tan saw the heroine, she recognized her instantly as the Shen family’s young miss. The two of them were clearly related, but one was a traitor to her country, and the other a rich young miss.
