Dudu followed Ye Fan and rubbed his chubby little belly. “I’m not a piggy, I’m Dudu.”

Dudu sat on his little stool and looked up at Ye Fan, his clear eyes filled with confusion.

Ye Fan had to keep herself from laughing as she poked fun of him on purpose. “But Dudu is such a hungry little baby. Aren’t you a little piggy?”

Dudu put his two hands at each side of his waist and stood his little body straight, pouting. “I’m not a piggy. I’m Dudu, Dudu!”

He repeated himself seriously.

Dudu stared at Ye Fan with his big round eyes, serious, insisting that he was not a piggy.

Ye Fan laughed. She pinched Dudu’s chin and said, “Alright, you’re not a piggy.”

Then, Dudu mumbled in a sweet voice to her, “Will mama still like me if I become a piggy?”

Dudu looked at Ye Fan without blinking, his face revealing his expectant mood.

Ye Fan looked at Dudu’s nervous face and couldn’t help but laugh. She leaned down, wanting to pick Dudu up, and Dudu quickly reached out his arms as soon as he saw that his mama wanted to hug.

Ye Fan put several kisses on her face while she said, “Mama likes Dudu no matter what you are.”

She put Dudu down right outside the bathroom and said, “Go out and play for a bit, Dudu. Mama’s going to clean up.”

They were brushing their teeth earlier, so a lot of water had been splashed onto the ground. If she didn’t wipe it up, then Dudu might slip and fall.

Obediently, Dudu turned around and left.

Ye Fan watched Dudu go out and finally crouched down to the ground, wiping the floor dry.

In just a few seconds, Ye Fan felt something heavy on her shoulders. A pair of chubby little hands suddenly hugged her from behind.

Dudu who had walked out from the bathroom ran back again and pressed his body against Ye Fan’s back with his face on Ye Fan’s neck.

Dudu gave Ye Fan a small peck at her ear. “Me too.”

“As long as it’s mama, I like it.”

Ye Fan’s heart softened and her eyes filled with warmth.

Ye Fan suddenly spoke, “Dudu, hold onto mama’s neck.”

Dudu was very obedient and very trusting of her. He clasped his two little hands tightly together.

Holding up Dudu’s small butt with her hands, Ye Fan stood up.

With Dudu on her back, Ye Fan quickened her steps and ran to the bedroom. She wanted to make Dudu smile, and even turned in circles several times.

Dudu thought he was flying as he giggled cheerfully.

She waited until Dudu had enough before she put Dudu carefully down on the large bed. Dudu’s hands were still around her neck, unwilling to let go.

“Mama, I can fly.”

Dudu stuck his face to Ye Fan’s cheek, and finally let go with reluctance. He stood on the bed excitedly, jumping and hopping, stomping his small little legs while he laughed incessantly.

Seeing how happy Dudu was, Ye Fan did not stop him either.

After jumping a few times, Dudu pounced on Ye Fan and buried himself in her arms, snuggling in deep.

After a moment, he raised his head and looked at Ye Fan with his sparkling eyes. Curiously, he asked, “Mama, why is mama so amazing?”

Ye Fan pondered on it but didn’t know how she should answer. She couldn’t just tell Dudu that all adults could do this, right?

Ye Fan rubbed Dudu’s head and said, “Maybe it’s because I’m Dudu’s mama.”

“I’m amazing because Dudu is amazing as well.”

Dudu giggled with even more satisfaction now while snuggling he climbed into the blanket obediently. Ye Fan dimmed the lights and laid a small piece of clean cloth over Dudu’s eyes.

Ye Fan found that Dudu would be able to fall asleep quickly as long as she covered him with clothes that smelled like her. Ever since then, Ye Fan prepared a lot of her clothes that she couldn’t wear anymore.
