Chapter 88: His son looked at Him, “Uncle Who Are You?” (1)
The guests all followed Ye Fan. She had a calm expression on her face, and she wasn’t flustered at all.
They had already gone through this place several times, so Ye Fan was just about able to memorize it.
But the house they stayed at was still very far away.
Ye Fan spoke English very fluently, so she asked for the directions from the residents in the town.
While listening to them, she nodded her head seriously, firmly absorbing their words in her mind.
Ding Ruoyi and Li Qiong had been very confident in Ye Fan to begin with.
Even the suspicious Gu Yachen put her mind to rest after seeing how Ye Fan acted.
Even though she didn’t say it, Gu Yachen knew very well that they would only be able to return by following Ye Fan.
There were some Chinese tourists on the streets who recognized Ye Fan and Tang Jin.
Since they were recording a show right now, the tourists couldn’t go up to them for a signature, they could only take their photos from afar.
Tang Jin was upset, but she couldn’t show her anger on her face.
Then, when the group finally returned to the house rented by the crew, it was already quite late.
That had been way too exhausting of a trip, all they wanted to do was rest.
Since they were too tired, even the bickering one kept silent as they all returned to their own rooms.
As soon as she stopped walking, Ye Fan began thinking of Dudu again.
Dudu must miss her very much.
Her baby had been very reliant on her usually. As long as she was at home, Dudu would always follow just a step behind her.
That small and fair face of Dudu’s appeared in Ye Fan’s mind, as well as the dimples on his face as he smiled.
Dudu would touch her face with his chubby soft hands and call her mama in the sweetest voice.
That was her Dudu…
Fortunately, they were heading back soon. Then, she would be able to see her baby again.
While thinking of Dudu, Ye Fan closed her eyes.
Quietly, she drifted off to dreamland.
…
Ye Fan was going to return the next day. Even though Nanny Li kept assuring Dudu that, Dudu’s mood still wouldn’t improve.
This being the first time he had ever separated with his mama for such a long time, Dudu couldn’t get used to it.
Nanny Li figured that it had been a long time since she had brought Dudu out to play, and Dudu was in a bad mood because he kept thinking about his mama.
So, she packed up some things and prepared to head out with Dudu.
“Baby, I’m bringing you to the amusement park,” said Nanny Li as she headed over to Ye Fan’s bed.
The sheets were covered in his mama’s smell, so Dudu would always lay on Ye Fan’s bed whenever he was awake.
Dudu raised his butt in the air and held Ye Fan’s blanket tight, unwilling to let go.
Nanny Li pinched Dudu’s chubby little face and said, “Be good baby, mama’s coming home tomorrow so you’ll be able to see her soon.”
Dudu pouted but he nodded. In a sweet milky voice, he said, “Mama’s coming home soon.”
Reluctantly, he let go of the blanket and sat up from the bed.
Nanny Li sat on the edge of the bed and said, “Let’s go to the amusement park to play, then we’ll buy some watercolors so you can draw something for mama, okay?”
Dudu’s eyes lit up and he clapped his hands. “For mama!”
Dudu reached out his hands so Nanny Li could carry him off the bed. Dudu was very cooperative and allowed Nanny Li to change him before they set off.
The place Dudu was going to go to was an indoor amusement park. This was an amusement park built especially for young children.
There were many recreational features suitable for children to play with here, and the parents who came with their children could also dine in. The staff in the amusement park would also be able to help look after the children.
