Daily Life of a Villain’s Mother - Chapter 98
Chapter 98: Power of the Sisters (2)
Since Du Du and Ye Fan had been apart for so long, he followed her around all day like a little puppy, tailing her enthusiastically.
Wherever mom went, he’d follow.
When mom sat, he was adamant on standing next to her. When she stood, he was adamant on holding onto her leg, not letting go no matter what.
With Du Du sticking to Ye Fan all day, Ye Fanshe naturally went along with whatever he wanted.
“Feed me mom!” Du Du faced his small bowl. He could eat it by himself, but he didn’t want to move his hand. Instead, he opened his little mouth, like a chubby baby quail waiting to be fed.
Du Du placed his hands behind him, refusing to eat by himself.
Ye Fan smiled. She prepared to chill the noodles for a while and then feed them to him.
But Du Du didn’t want to wait a second longer. His finger flashed out, pointing to his mouth, before quickly returning to his back.
“Mommy, ahhh.” he stretched his mouth wide, asking mom to feed him food.
Ye Fan used the small fork to twirl up the noodle, feeding it into his mouth.
He immediately leaned over, satisfyingly biting down onto the spoon, chewing with his small mouth closed.
“Mommy, I still want more,” Du Du pointed to the noodles on the table once again.
Today, Du Du found that the food he was eating tasted better than ever before. It seemed that as long as mom was here, anything would taste good.
Ye Fan fed him bite by bite, continuing until his small belly bloated up, at which she stopped feeding him.
Du Du stared at his empty plate, with a reluctant expression.
Ye Fan gently rubbed his round and full stomach, then wiped his nose.
“You’ve eaten enough.”
Du Du actually didn’t want to eat more, but he enjoyed mom feeding him.
When it was finally time for Ye Fan to eat, he insisted on sitting on her lap..
His chubby body shrank into Ye Fan’s arms, heavy.
When Ye Fan took a bite and raised her hand, he raised his head and looked over.
Again and again. He didn’t seem to grow tired of it.
When she went to the kitchen to wash dishes, he continued to follow her, holding onto Ye Fan’s pants and not letting go.
Using a small and frail voice he said, “Hug. Hug me mommy.”
Ye Fan picked up Du Du, and placed him down next to her on the counter so that he could watch for himself.
Du Du quieted down after that.
Previously, when he raised up his head to watch Ye Fan, his neck hurt because of how short he was.
But now that she was right in front of him, he was able to reach her just by outreaching his hand.
Du Du felt much calmer.
He knew the reason for why Ye Fan was gone for so long. So when she had gone, he didn’t cry or whine much.
Because they needed someone to make money for the house, and she worked tirelessly to make ends meet.
Ye Fan hoped that if she worked harder, she’d be able to give her child a good life while also bonding with him.
She washed the dishes while Du Du sat next to her, watching.
The next moment, he suddenly raised up his bottom and crawled towards her.
She was worried he would fall down. Not caring about the fact that her hand was covered in soap, she reached out to block Du Du.
Thinking he was going to move around, she stood a little closer to the counter.
Instead, Du Du suddenly leaned over and gave Ye Fan a small kiss.
The small kiss landed on the tip of her nose.
Ye Fan didn’t realize what he was doing and felt startled. She didn’t move, but heard Du Du’s voice.
In the quiet kitchen.
His milky and soft voice rang out.
“When I’m little, mommy will raise me. When I’m bigger, I’ll raise mommy.”
Ye Fan kissed Du Du’s small face back, rubbing her face against his.
“It’s okay if Du Du doesn’t grow up so soon.”
Ye Fan only wanted to watch him grow up little by little. He was her baby, and she liked it this way.
Du Du reached out his arms, wrapping them around her neck, warmly clasping it tightly with his hand.
Ye Fan didn’t want to put him aside, so she continued doing the dishes while maintaining this position.
She couldn’t stop him, so instead she held his small body with one hand and used the other hand to wash the dishes.
Thankfully, the dishes were nearly clean anyways. Using some more time, she was able to finish washing them.
Ye Fan picked up Du Du, wiped her hands, and headed towards the living room.
Inside the embrace of his mother, Du Du felt at peace. He could smell the familiar scent of her, as his eyes slowly drifted shut.
