Princess Ye sighed with emotions and smiled, saying, “Uncle Xuan.”

The man clad in cyan turned around at the voice and smiled, saying, “Yu’er, you’re here.”

Princess Ye hummed and walked over.

Xuan Bin asked, “You went to the palace already?” He waved his hands and wooden rattan chairs appeared between them. He casually sat on one of the rattan chairs and he casually reached for the teapot, pouring out faint clear tea.

“I just came from the palace.” Princess Ye carefully sat down.

Xuan Bin didn’t look up, but said, “I could tell that you saw the Emperor.”

When the teacup was full, Xuan Bin slightly moved his fingers and the teacup flew in the air, landing in front of Princess Ye without a drop.

Xuan Bin’s gaze followed the teacup and he asked, “What do you think about him?”

Princess Ye took the teacup and suddenly smiled gently, saying, “Very good. I like him.”

“…”

Towards this response, there was not much emotions in Xuan Bin’s eyes as if he had expected this.

Princess Ye sipped the clear tea and then looked at Xuan Bin cautious, before saying shyly, “But, Uncle Xuan, I want to request something.”

“Hm?” Xuan Bin raised his head and his eyes were smiling.

Princess Ye looked down and said, “I heard that the Emperor had titled three new beauties…” A glimpse of coldness flashed by her eyes.

Although the princess didn’t complete her words, Xuan Bin knew what she was going to say. He picked up his own teacup and brought it to his lips, blowing.

“What? You’re not even married yet and you’re eager to get rid of your enemies?… Yu’er, you’re too narrow-minded and you won’t be suitable to live within the palace.”

From start to end, Xuan Bin had been saying this with a faint smile and his gaze had been on the teacup the entire time. However, Princess Ye’s figure froze when she heard this. Fear flashed by her eyes.

Princess Ye forced a smile and said, “Uncle Xuan, if they’re just ordinary beauties for night duty, I naturally won’t care or even dare to bother you with this small matter… but one of them seems to be a bit different.”

Xuan Bin still didn’t raise his head, asking, “How is she different?”

Xuan Bin glanced at her and said, “How are you certain that the Emperor actually holds different thoughts towards that woman?” He held his gaze and continued, “Weren’t there rumors that the three newly titled beauties all gained the Emperor’s favor at the same time?”

“Whether he is just putting up an act or actually has sincere feelings, Yu’er can differentiate that.”

Princess Ye reluctantly smiled and said, “I even have doubts that the other 2 beauties were just a diversionary tactic by the Emperor.”

When Xuan Bin heard this, he looked down as if in deep thought, but didn’t say anything.

Princess Ye laughed, embarrassed. “I’m just worried about Uncle Xuan, your plan for the future…”

“I know what you’re worried about.” Xuan Bin cut off her words once again and then looked down. “She’s just a newly titled beauty. Since you don’t like her, get rid of her then.”
