Chapter 12: Took His Button Part 2

Ye Sui realized that the thing she was most afraid of was coming! How could there also be Qing Dynasty ghosts on this set!?!

Ye Sui was stunned. She didn’t know whether to lowered her head or leave immediately. Assistant Xiao Liu thought she was tired from reading the script. “Ye Sui, do you want some water?”

A cup of warm water was handed to Ye Sui. Her hands were trembling as she took a sip.

Ye Sui hurriedly took out Chen Shu’s shirt button and held it tightly in her hand. Even if she had changed her costume, she still didn’t forget to bring Chen Shu’s things with her all the time.

That Qing dynasty ghost looked towards her; her eyes were a little afraid. The next second, she vanished along with the wind.

Ye Sui sighed with relief and was glad that she had made the right decision.

The morning passed, by the time in the afternoon, Ye Sui finally got her first scene. The director called her over and stood with Chang Ying to point out the drama scene.

Ye Sui listened to the director talking about the play, disregarding of her appearance, and didn’t even have time to take a look at the present ghost. Chang Ying’s head was slightly tilted, her eyes were soft and her every move she made was indifferent.

Because their facial features were somewhat similar, Ye Sui had held the title of “Little Chang Ying” since her debut. Now, her clothes weren’t casual anymore, but a red full-chested shirt that fully reflected her true temperament.

Bright and colorful set of clothes that sort of exquisiteness could interest the eyes of an audience in an instant.

On the Internet, it was said that Ye Sui and Chang Ying were somewhat similar. However, when two people really stood together, the difference was clear, one was like an elegant orchid, while the other was a distinguished flower in the world.

(T/N: An orchid and flower? According to article, the orchid differentiates from virtually all other flowering plants: the fusion of the male portion of the flower (stamen) and female portion (pistil) into one structure called the column—often visible protruding from the center.)

Hm, perhaps because the red costume which Ye Sui wore was too bright, so could it be that her costume far outweighed Chang Ying’s simple costume? The cast had to admit that Ye Sui really stole the limelight from Chang Ying in this scene.

These people also included Chen Xiu.

But Chen Xiu snorted coldly. His line of sight returned to Chang Ying. She was now a popular campus belle, while he was a lesser actor with a good reputation. He was preparing to find a suitable time to tell the public of his love affair and would definitely want to be known as a lovely young couple by the outside world and they would be praised endlessly.

As for Ye Sui, throughout the internet she was considered as a sinister celebrity. She didn’t even have loyal fans. So what if she was beautiful? She was still not as famous as Chang Ying.

The director had finished telling them about the play. When he returned from the lakeside, Ye Sui and Chang Ying remained there. Ye Sui silently recited her lines, while Chang Ying whispered them softly and slowly.

The wind along the river was strong, and the costume of Chan Ying was blown up and looked like they were going to fly away. Ye Sui stared at the river, indicating she didn’t want to listen to what Chang Ying said.

Chang Ying was always proud of herself. What she didn’t like most was Ye Sui’s appearance.

This was a movie set and not a good place to talk. Chang Ying wasn’t good at showing her expressions of hatred towards Ye Sui. She looked really unhappy, so she prepared to stand a little away from Ye Sui.

She didn’t think that there would be a stone pier by the riverbank. Chang Ying’s actions was too sudden. In the end her heel kicked the stone and she immediately lost her balance as she fell back.

But, Chang Ying had foreseen this coming. It would be shameful if she fell into the water alone. She had to take a cushion. So before she fell, Chang Ying grabbed Ye Sui’s arm.

Splash!—

There was a splash on the water and there was no one near the river.
