Wang Chuan knew that Ye Sui and Chen Shu had a relationship. So he kindly stood up and dissuaded Pei Ning by saying that Chen Shu was already eyeing someone.

“You’d better give up as our boss has someone he likes.”

For a few seconds, Pei Ning smiled stiffly and felt as if her heart was being stabbed. She stood there blankly. “The phone is here, so I will leave first.”

When Pei Ning’s car left, Wang Chuan and the other colleagues could all see that Pei Ning didn’t believe him. She wouldn’t give up on Chen Shu so easily.

Chen Shu and Ye Sui arrived at the Riliao Restaurant(Japanese). As it was still early, there were not many people in the restaurant. Chen Shu was mindful of the identity of Ye Sui, so the two entered a private room and selected a few dishes on the menu.

While looking at the menu, Ye Sui was pondering that this would be their first informal date. Meanwhile, Chen Shu was thinking that this was the first time they had gone out to eat since they got married.

Ye Sui guessed that the pocket of Chen Shu would not be loaded, so she chose to order sushi. When he saw that she was ordering less, he asked, “Are you not hungry?”

Ye Sui politely made an excuse. “I cannot eat too much.”

If she said that the meal will be paid by her, Chen Shu might feel that he had lost face. Therefore, she could only order less to help save money.

Chen Shu, worth billions of dollars, had no idea that his wife was trying to scrimp and scrape for him. He looked at the menu and said to the waiter, “Please add sashimi, roast beef tongue, sushi…”

Ye Sui just wanted to say that he should not order so many dishes. Still, Chen Shu continued ordering a series of dishes from the menu.

She decided that next time she would invite Chen Shu to dinner, she must bring him to an excellent restaurant to make up for his empty wallet today.

Both of them had their own ideas and didn’t know each other’s thoughts. After a while, their dishes were served, and they started to eat.

While eating, Ye Sui heard a voice. “Such a sweet, good fragrance. My tongue will fall…”

Ye Sui instantly became alert and stopped her actions. Where did this voice come from?

Ye Sui looked at the corner of the room and was stunned. Sure enough, there was a black shadow in the corner, and a long tongue was hanging out as if it was hungry.

The gluttonous ghost was sniffing the aromatic food and could not take off his eyes from the dishes on the table. He was fully focused and did not even blink.

Ye Sui buried her head in their dinner and did not dare to look up. She felt aggrieved! She didn’t want to look up and feel devastated! Why would this ghost come out at this time?

In the beginning, this gluttonous ghost’s face had a happy expression while observing Ye Sui and Chen Shu eating. After a while, however, his brows began to frown as if it were able to taste the food along with them.

Ye Sui pretended not to care. She remained calm and yet scared while eating. Everything continued without any problems, but when Ye Sui ate the oxtail dish, it suddenly crumbled.

Ye Sui did not dab the oxtail in lemon while eating it. The gluttonous ghost suddenly squatted next to Ye Sui, and said in a loud voice: “Child, how can you not smear lemon before eating an oxtail dish? Do you understand the essence of food?”

She didn’t want to, but this gluttonous ghost’s hand went across that place all of a sudden and completely blocked her way to get the lemon. She didn’t have the guts to do it.

Seeing the attitude of Ye Sui, the gluttonous ghost was not satisfied. He growled. “Lemon. Big sister, you are not obedient! You must listen to me!”

As he spoke, he held out his hand and gave the lemon a push. It rolled out of the plate to the edge of the table before falling straight to the ground.

This lemon began to roll by itself without anyone touching it. If it was seen by others, they would definitely feel scared. Ye Sui glanced at Chen Shu carefully.
