Ye Sui endured the pain and opened the door. The next instant, Chen Shu walked in quickly and looked at Ye Sui. “What’s wrong?” 

She sat back on the bed and pointed to her waist. “Sprained my back.” 

Chen Shu did not speak. He thought for a few seconds before saying, “Stand up and take a few steps.” 

Ye Sui was puzzled. “Huh?” She had twisted her waist. Why would she do that? 

Chen Shu said seriously, “Take a few more steps. Maybe your waist will be fine.” 

“…” Listening to the fallacious reasoning of Chen Shu, she didn’t know what to say. 

“I’m going to apply cold compresses.” Ye Sui was helpless. She pointed to the bathroom, causing Chen Shu to awaken. “You can help me get a towel.” 

Chen Shu made a sound and walked obediently to the bathroom. Ye Sui said another sentence behind him, “Don’t forget to soak the towel in cold water.” 

Soon, he returned to the bed with a soaked towel. Ye Sui spread out her hands. “Towel.”
 

Chen Shu stood there, motionless. With the towel in his hand, he looked at her with dark eyes. 

“What’s the matter?” 

“I’ll help you apply it.” 

Ye Sui almost fell off the bed. She had to lift off her clothes to apply it. Of course, she would do it herself. However, she felt that Chen Shu was naive and apparently did not think of this; he just insisted on helping her. 

Ye Sui refused him. “I’ll do it myself.” 

The two looked at each other for a few seconds, and Chen Shu silently handed the towel to Ye Sui, who nodded in satisfaction. When she was just about to open her clothes, she suddenly thought that he was still standing beside her. 

Ye Sui turned her head and reminded Chen Shu, “I’m going to apply it now.” That is, I’m going to start lifting clothes.

Chen Shu: “Okay.” 

Ye Sui: “Then turn around now.” Chen Shu obediently followed her instructions, turning his back to Ye Sui. She lifted her clothes and put the wet towel on her waist. 

Chen Shu heard the sound of clothes rustling from behind. After a while, Ye Sui’s next order came, “Turn around.” 

She handed Chen Shu the towel, who changed it to a new one. 

Ye Sui’s waist was much more comfortable after a cold compress. However, in the following days, Chen Shu would always be staring at Ye Sui. 

If she wanted to do something but didn’t tell him, she would receive Chen Shu’s bitter gaze, as saying, ‘Really don’t need my help?’
