Daily Life of a Villain’s Mother - Chapter 92
Chapter 92: He Han Has Come For Ye Fan (2)
When she had walked in, Du Du was still asleep, not aware of what understanding the connection between hearts meant.
Tn: A type of telepathy, sort of like how some twins will instinctively know what each other are thinking.
Once Du Du heard the door shut, he had immediately woken up.
He had just woke up, still carrying the smell of morning breath in his mouth. The moment he saw mother, he had collapsed.
He was crying so hard he didn’t even have a chance to catch his breath. Ye Fan’s heart stung seeing him like this.
His voice was still unsteady as he said, “Mom…mom…why did you only come home now?”
Her heart was about to be shattered from his crying. She quickly gave her baby lots of kisses.
As the corner of her eyes started turning red, she carefully hugged his body.
Ye Fan stood up with Du Du in her arms, spinning a few times in the room while comforting him.
“It was mommy’s fault, I shouldn’t have left baby for so long,” Ye Fan softly said. She gave him another kiss.
He rubbed his face on Ye Fan’s, his body turning a bit at a time.
“Mommy promises, I’ll never leave you alone for so long.”
She wiped the tears from his face, gently patting his back to reassure him.
After a while, Du Du slowly calmed down, and he suddenly remembered something.
“Mom, I made a gift for you.”
His voice was still tearful as he raised his head to look at Her, the pair of his eyes still moist.
Ye Fan smiled warmly, completely different from the way she appeared coldly in front of others.
All of her warmth was given to Du Du.
“Really? Where did you put the gift?”
He let Ye Fan put him down, wanting to personally bring it over for her to see.
However, as soon as his foot landed on the ground, he tightly grabbed onto her hand, refusing to let go.
She bent down slightly, following him to the room.
Du Du took out a painting from beside his bed.
He had been worried that he’d lose the painting, so he decided to put it next to him while he slept.
She kneeled down beside the bed, putting him on her leg as she did so.
The two of them looked at the gift Du Du gave to her.
On that small piece of white paper, there weren’t too many lines.
But Ye Fan could tell that he put himself and her into the painting.
In that not-too-big room, there was only her and Du Du.
Ye Fan rested her head on his own. The scent of milk was comforting to her.
She hugged Du Du tightly, as she softly spoke into his ear.
“Remember, mommy loves you the most.”
……
After hearing that Ye Fan was coming to Hua Rui, Dai Jinshan said he needed to speak with her. When she arrived, Da Jinshanhe was sitting inside.
As she sat down, Dai Jinshan handed her a script. “What do you think about this script?”
Ye Fan lowered her head, reading out loud the name of the TV series.
“Minister Shen.”
Tn*: Shen is the name of the male character.
“It features a strong male lead. The story is about a group of men locked in a struggle for power. The male protagonist has a lover who is the princess of a fallen country named Yao Guang.”
Ye Fan speedily finished reading the information on the script, raising her head to ask, “You want me to play the role of Yao Guang?”
Dai Jinshan nodded. “You’ve seen it too. This show’s focus is the male protagonist, but as the lover, Yao Guang’s role is quite important as well.”
“In a tv show that features a male protagonist, the focus would remain on him. No young, popular actress will pick up this show.”
“But that’s not the case for everyone.” He looked towards Ye Fan. “As far as I know, several people have their eyes set on this role.”
Ye Fan thought for a moment.
“So the competition is tough.”
“I think you’re very suitable for this role,” he said. “You should go try.”
Ye Fan knew that the audition this time would be hard, but she knew it’d be alright as long as she tried her best.
A few days later, Ye Fan arrived at the place for the audition. The assistant told her to wait for a moment, as someone else was auditioning inside at the moment.
Ye Fan patiently waited.
A while later, the door opened and a few people came out. The assistant saw Ye Fan, saying to her, “come in.”
Ye Fan stood up, but just as she pushed open the door, she heard the voice of a man speaking. His tone carried a bit of anxiety along with it.
“These people are all unfitting for the role of Yao Guang.”
