“I’ll come with you.” Su Jinbei quickly continued his sentence.

Zhou Shiyun glanced at her, “Okay.”

The sky was getting dark and the smell of food from the houses nearby permeated throughout the entire village. Along the way, the locals who saw Zhou Shiyun would call him ‘Dr. Zhou’ in a respectful manner and would look at Su Jinbei with curious eyes.

“They all seem to be quite familiar with you.”

“I’ve been here several times before.”

“Shiyun, you’re here.” A man in his thirties walked out from inside the house, dressed plainly and wearing rimless glasses on his face. He looked very ordinary.

“Who is this?”

Su Jinbei nodded towards him, “Hello, my name is Su Jinbei.”

The man had a look of recognition on his face, “I remember now, Shiyun has mentioned you before. His fiancee, right?”

Su Jinbei reached out and shook his hand.

“Come in, it’s cold outside.” Zhang Chao led the two into the house, “Have you had dinner? If you haven’t, you’re welcome to stay and eat.”

“No need, they’ve already made ouru share.” Zhou Shiyun handed him the bag in his hand, “Xiaoyuan’s medicine.”

Zhang Chao hesitated, “Why are you giving me medicine again, this…”

Zhang Chao smiled helplessly, “I owe you too much.”

“Uncle Zhou!” A child’s voice rang at the door. Su Jinbei looked back and saw a woman walking over with a boy around eight years old.

“Very good! I even went to school yesterday~” Xiaoyuan took Zhou Shiyun’s hand affectionately and turned to look at Su Jinbei. “Ah, are you Uncle Zhou’s girlfriend? Grandma Liang told me.”

Su Jinbei ruffled his head, “Who is Grandma Liang?”
