Chapter 12: Growth Hair Agent to Save the Little One

It was like when she had picked up a stray cat. She fed and took it home. She would also squat and stare at it without even blinking, and she would catch and bring it back to its bed while it was distracted.

Lu Qiu scratched her head embarrassedly. This fruit was very sweet and juicy. Just like a watermelon, it was full of filling. She turned her eyes to a bunch of fruits that had spread apart, picked up a piece, and pinched it with her hands. Its shell was a little hard. She gnawed it with her upper teeth, making her teeth hurt, so she simply stopped gnawing.

She then knocked on the fruit using the back of her finger. It made a dull sound like metal, making her stunned.

What a pity to just put it down.

In fact, she was very curious about the foods in this world. The fish was a variety that she has never seen before, and the same with the two fruits.

Seeing her take a bite and place the fruit down, Wells cautiously reached out, this time without Ruth reminding him, and cut the fruit apart.

When he withdrew his claws, due to the position where Lu Qiu was sitting, his paws passed directly over most of her body, and his cloud-like soft hair lightly came into contact with her skin. Lu Qiu couldn’t help swallowing. She wanted to reach out and touch it.

Lu Qiu shook her head at him and moved to the edge of the tray.

Wells then found out that this pet was actually not eating much. It was said that most hairless monkeys were difficult to raise. They especially liked to scream, very aggressive, and were good at running away, but this one was completely different. He really had a good vision.

After confirming that she no longer wanted to eat, Ruth consciously stepped forward and took the tray away.

Lu Qiu was standing at an enormous place, facing a giant cat. She didn’t dare to move without the cat moving, and the atmosphere was a little awkward.

She really wanted to go back to her bed. Although it was now daytime where the sun had already risen outside and the heat was nearly 20 degrees higher than at night, the temperature here was still too cold for her.

“I want to go back to bed.” She said slowly, wondering if the giant cat heard her. She then pointed to herself and to the bed.

This cat was intelligent; he should be able to understand her meaning.

She tentatively moved two steps towards the bed. She just turned around, and suddenly, her body rose into the air.

She was caught by the giant cat’s huge furry tail and got thrown back to the bed with great precision.

Because the bed was too soft, she felt no pain even after she was thrown this time.

Wells felt a little happy. He thought enthusiastically that this pet was actually very good, docile, and obedient, small and smart.

It is still too weak, too little hair, and too bald.

Maybe, he should buy some hair growth agents to save the little one.

In chapter 9, the steward was introduced as Simon, but it was supposed to be Ruth. So, Wells only has a steward named Ruth from now on. I’m sorry for the confusion.
