The hill was close to the camp, so she planned to view the sunrise there and then come back.

It wasn’t yet sunrise when she heard an eagle call. A few moments later, the source of the noise had drawn closer and landed near her.

Shu Nuan jumped up from the rock and turned around. Ah’Qi was flying toward her, followed by Xuan Jiu.

Shu Nuan’s mouth fell agape. “Why…” she managed to utter.
