Chapter 30: Trapped in an Elevator (3) 

“What’s going on?” 

“Is it broken?” 

There was a couple in the elevator. Seeing that the door didn’t open, the boy taps on the door and presses the open button. 

The girl went to press other buttons, none of them turned on. Seeing this, she was obviously a little panicked. 

Gu Yuanyuan found an apparatus and clicked the alarm on the top of the elevator. 

Unfortunately, there was no sound. 

Gu Yuanyuan guessed and said: “It may be stuck.”
 

The couple looked at her for a moment, both of them were stunned.  Gu Yuanyuan bowed her head and wrote on her phone after she had entered the elevator, so that they wouldn’t see what she looked like. 

Meanwhile the girl still had a strange thought thinking, do young girls still type with writing boards nowadays? 

As a result, she saw Gu Yuanyuan’s face. She was just like any other ordinary girl. When they see good-looking girls, their attention is immediately drawn with less panic. 

Gu Yuanyuan was going to call Gu Yizhou for help when suddenly the elevator moved and the girl screamed. 

Gu Yuanyuan also shook, she didn’t hold the phone tight enough and ended up dropping it.n Then with a loud noise the elevator went dark—the lamp was broken. 

The girl was probably replaying those horrible videos about the elevator falling with dreadful endings in her head, and she was so scared that she screamed. The boy was brave and hugged her: “Grab the handrail!” 

Gu Yizhou’s office was on the eighth floor. Gu Yuanyuan just counted the floors. After three stops, she said, “we  should be on the fifth floor now. Don’t worry, the hospital will soon find that this elevator is out of order. We will be able to leave soon.”
 

The girl sobbed and shouted, “Aren’t you afraid, little sister?” 

“I’m afraid.” Gu Yuanyuan was helpless. Did she spend all her luck on not getting injured from that hot pan last night? Now the elevator breaks as soon as she stepped into it. 

We just need to wait and see if it’s a disaster or not. 

I’m going to get out of the elevator soon. Why does she have to experience this kind of situation? 

The girl was choking and was affected by Gu Yuanyuan’s calm voice, and she immediately became brave,”Lin Jing, please call the police!” 

“Oh oh.” The boy also reacted and took out his phone. Suddenly there was light in the dark elevator. When the girl saw Gu Yuanyuan alone, she reached out. “My name is Miao Miao, come and join me.” 

The two girls stood together and they felt slightly more secure. 

“My name is Gu Yuanyuan, thank you.”  Gu Yuanyuan wanted to find her own cell phone through the light of the boy’s cell phone. He listened to the boy saying, “We can’t get out, there is no signal!” 

Gu Yuanyuan: “……” 

She just texted Erbao in the elevator! 

The girl named Miao Miao took out her mobile phone,”I don’t have a signal for mine either, I just had it.” 

Gu Yuanyuan said: “Could you please open the flashlight, I want to look for my phone.” 

Finally, she found the mobile phone in the corner. It was indeed a high-end mobile phone bought by her stepsister Cheng Man’An. Gu Yuanyuan said with joy,”I have a signal.” 

The couple became immediately relieved, both eagerly looking at Gu Yuanyuan. 

However, they noticed Gu Yuanyuan didn’t move for a long time. 

“What’s the matter?”  Miao Miao asked eagerly. 

Gu Yuanyuan was extremely depressed,”The screen broke.” 

The touch screen can’t slide!!! 

Miao Miao & Lin Jing: “……” 

Looking at it, the phone rang. It was Gu Yizhou calling. Gu Yuanyuan tried hard to slide the green key but it didn’t move. She immediately became embarrassed. 

She didn’t know why, but Miao Miao snorted happily, “You see, this scene isn’t like the clips which often appear in the movie. Sure enough, the movie comes from real life. It’s too real and bloody!” 

Lin Jing was helpless: “Stop laughing.” 

Miao Miao: “As long as we stay here, I’m afraid it will fall again …” 

Dang! 

Miao Miao: “……” 

Lin Jing: “……” 

Gu Yuanyuan: “……”
