The Duchess and the Devil - Chapter 77.2
– And there is something else… I used to be afraid of you and your gaze. But now you’re leaving. And… I’m afraid of this.
The demon was not only a dear person to her, but also a shield. And Judith hoped that he would never disappear from her life. Purple eyes closely followed the Duchess’s every move. She no longer saw her husband in them. For her now there was only a demon.
The two’s eyes met. The deep emotions inside spoke much better than any words. A hot feeling spread inside. And no one dared to start speaking first, breaking eye contact. That is why Judith was extremely worried: after all, Derrick usually does not remain silent for so long. Besides, the demon preferred to say nothing rather than lie. This was exactly the situation they found themselves in: he simply could not say that he would never leave.
“Hold me,” Judith said again, trying not to think about it.
“Judith,” Derrick called her with a sigh.
The Duchess began to take off her dress, exposing her white shoulders. Now she acted decisively. The opposite sex was never attracted to her, and in Derrick the Duchess was able to find her outlet. The tension in the demon’s pants grew. When he looked at Judith, he seemed to lose all control, but he did not want to injure his already weak and fragile body.
But the Duchess was not going to stop there. She wrapped her arm around Derrick’s neck and placed the demon’s hand on her chest. Without unnecessary movements, Judith touched his lips with hers, and a fire burned in her eyes, warming him more and more. And she behaved in such a way as to hide pain and resentment. Derrick did not respond to such an honest confession. And now, to cope with loneliness, Judith tried to give herself to the demon. She didn’t want to feel lonely.
My heart was beating wildly, as if a giant whirlpool was growing inside me. And it was not because of Hannibal’s magic, like in days past, but because of the demon’s true feelings. Judith’s vision was distracted, as if she were lost in the dark. She blinked and a tear rolled down her cheek.
A drop fell on Derrick’s hand, causing his surprised eyes to widen even more. But the Duchess silently bit her lip and pulled the hem of her dress up a little. Tears and silence. This situation couldn’t help but worry the demon.
– Why are you crying? Are you hurt?
– I want to sleep.
Hearing his wife’s voice, Derrick understood why she behaved this way. Clenching his hand into a fist, he removed it, still unable to give a definite answer. That is why the demon could not find a place for himself. The rift between such close people arose extremely unexpectedly.
