Chapter 110: Han Ye Couple Pairing, Make the Ratings Soar (4)
The door opened after a few seconds.
Ye Fan entered, holding onto his hand.
“Cheng Ping.”
Cheng Ping smiled as she saw Ye Fan.
“You’ve come.”
As Cheng Ping looked down, her gaze stopped.
Standing on the ground was a pretty little child.
His eyes were big and black, a truly beautiful sight to behold.
Cheng Ping gave a sound of surprise, shock on her face.
“Where did such a beautiful child come from?”
“He’s my son,” Ye Fan replied.
Ye Fan lowered her head, looking to Du Du, gently speaking.
“Du Du, what should you say now?”
He stood by Ye Fan’s foot, he held onto her pants, sticking out his head.
“Hello ma’am,” he said obediently, in his soft and gentle voice.
Mommy had told him before how he should address others.
Cheng Ping cheerfully answered him, before asking, “What’s your name?”
“My name is Du Du.”
Cheng Ping’s smile only grew.
Du Du tilted his head, glancing at Ye Fan, his eyes shining once again.
“I like this name too. Mommy gave it to me.”
Cheng Ping felt extremely fond of him.
Yan Xiao Xiao stood next to Cheng Ping, looking at the loveable child in curiosity.
Ye Fan held onto his small hand, pointing to Yan Xiao Xiao.
“Du Du, how should you greet this older sister?”
He saw Yan Xiao Xiao, as his small voice called out,
“Hello, older sister*.”
Tn*: Not necessarily related, just a polite way of greeting.
Yan Xiao Xiao smiled.
“ Ms. Ye, your child is so adorable.”
Cheng Ping watched Ye Fan, feeling a small bit of regret.
She had originally thought that Ye Fan and He Han were well-matched, and wanted them to get to know each other.
Now that she knew that Ye Fan had a child, that idea was temporarily suspended.
She held onto Du Du’s hand, ready to start teaching Yan Xiao Xiao piano.
“Du Du, mommy is going to teach this older sister how to play piano. Could you sit next to me for now?” she asked.
Ye Fan worried that he would get bored about playing the piano, so she let him sit by her side and play a little
He shook his hand, his hand holding onto Ye Fan’s clothes.
“I want to watch mommy play.”
“Then, could you sit next to mommy’s side?”
Du Du responded by clapping his hand, replying, “Okay.”
At this time, Cheng Ping brought over fruits and drinks.
“Du Du, are you hungry? Want some snacks?” she asked in concern.
“I’m not hungry, I don’t need to eat,” he replied.
After some thinking, he added, “Thank you ma’am.
Cheng Ping felt like her heart was about to be melted by this small child.
“I’ll put the snacks here. Du Du, if you’re hungry, just eat some, alright?” she said.
He nodded, “Okay.”
He knew that Ye Fan was about to start playing, so he briskly tried to climb onto the piano bench next to her.
Du Du tilted his chair and looked at its height, which was much taller than himself.
He blinked. This chair was so tall.
He turned his head and reached out to Ye Fan.
“Mommy, hug.”
She picked up Du Du, gently placing him on the bench.
“When mommy plays the piano, you mustn’t move. You have to sit here obediently,” she sternly told him.
She was worried Du Du would fall down.
He replied, “I will be obedient.”
Ye Fan was not reassured, and repeated this a few more times.
Yan Xiao Xiao sat to Ye Fan’s left, while Du Du sat to her right.
As Ye Fan played piano, she corrected Yan Xiao Xiao, giving her some tips about what to pay attention to during the test.
Yan Xiao Xiao listened closely, asking Her a few questions every now and then.
Ye Fan would also look to Du Du every now and then, checking whether or not he was sitting properly.
Du Du saw that she was sternly talking to Yan Xiao Xiao, but didn’t take care of him.
He lowered his lips and felt somewhat irritated.
Mommy played so well though, so why wasn’t he happy?
After another piece ended, Ye Fan continued speaking to Yan Xiao Xiao.
Du Du watched them. Was this older sister going to snatch mommy away?
In his short life, he now felt threatened for the first time.
He watched Ye Fan, then pulled on her clothes.
Ye Fan turned around, gently asking, “What’s wrong sweetie?”
Du Du raised his small hand, insisting, “Mommy, later I want to sit in between you and older sister.”
